I've just been (forcibly) moved from Shell to talktalk for my phone.  Does anyone know a Freephone number I can use to contact talktalk please?  All there seems to be is a wretched, useless chatbot.

Call 0345 172 0088.  The call will be free from a TalkTalk phone.  From other phones you'll be charged exactly the same as when calling an 01 or 02 number, which will still be free anyway if your phone plan has spare 'included minutes' within it.

Try 0800 049 9999 that's the number that comes up when you press call us on their website.

Thanks, I'll give those a go.  Shell used to have a 0345 number that was free to call from my Shell phone, so maybe this will be the same, though they haven't let me know that. 

Still waiting for my first bill....

This has happened to my son.  He tried to cancel but it seems it is not possible unless you pay the cancelation fee as the contract carries on as normal.  The service has been terrible since the change over but it seems he has to stay until the end of the contract so lots of time on the phone trying to get it working properly.
