Tesco Mobile Conttract

My contract is coming to an end. If I keep my phone will I get a cheaper contract with Tesco as I presume the phone will be paid for?

You'd get a cheaper deal with a SIM card from Smarty, Libara or any of those cheapies

Many people (including me) prefer to steer clear of contracts and use PAYG bundles instead.  (You can set things up so that your payments auto-renew each month, just like a contract, but you're not tied into any particular deal.  You can increase or decrease your monthly data allowance, or pull out altogether, at any time).  Tesco's bundle rates are here:

You can also switch to another phone service provider (while still keeping your phone number) very easily. For example, I currently pay £10 per month for my Asda bundle but, because I don't use much data, I could probably get away with paying just £7, or maybe even just £5, per month:

I pay £4 a month with Smarty but that deal isn't available now. Still cheap deals though
