Help Please With Apple Iphone 2020.

I remember I had a choice of how to access my iphone by either inputting a 6 figure code or to use a fingertip.  I chose a code.  

My vet wants me to send her a video of my dog when he's gagging.  I can't do this because as soon as I start punching the code number my dog immediately stops gagging. He's a clever fella.

Can anyone explain to me how I change from access code to fingertip on an iPhone 2020 please?  Hopefully then I might stand a chance of getting some answers from said vet. Mutt refuses to cough when he's actually with the vet.

Thank you Barry.  I got as far as Settings and then it's a jumble for me.  Mine & Jay's friend across the corridor would have done it in seconds if he was still with us:-(

I think I'm starting to understand about AlzHeimers. Or Dementia.

The solution to any iPhone problem is the same. Throw it out of the window and get an android.

Can you not turn your back on him when entering the code?

You only have to put in the code or fingerprint when it's gone to sleep. Keep your phone in active mode beside you for as much as you can and with luck you can access the camera when he does it. You can also probably go into settings and make the screen time-out after a longer number of minutes.

calmuk thank you that is good but it's too fast for me.  

Thank you for all your suggestions.  He's only gagged once today and that was when he woke me up this morning.  My vet needs to find out if it's what's known as Reverse Sneezing.  Having just read the PDSA's view on it I don't think I need to worry.  I'll have to find out if he has to stay on the meat free diet though.  He doesnt seem to be bothered that he's not getting meat meals recently.

You can add multiple fingerprints (both of your thumbs and forefingers, for example).

Go to Settings  > Touch ID & Passcode.

Tap Add a Fingerprint.

Follow the onscreen instructions.
