Hi, wondering if anyone can help, when i type a web address in a hotmail message it doesnt automatically highlight it so it can be linked from the page, it used to on my dads (xp) im using ME, is that why or is it a setting i need to change ?

Not really sure about this, but try hitting enter after typing the address.

Whilst in Hotmail you will see along the top the following:

Send / Save Draft / Attach and Tools as well as the option to cancel.

Click Tools

In the drop down box click on 'Rich Text Editor - on'

This will slightly alter how the email to be sent looks, only slightly.

Now type in a web address and hey presto !!
