Has anyone else experienced this:- when copying files from one folder to another (usually between two hard discs or to a USB device) some files copy ok but at other times the windows just close themselves and the desktop refreshes. The files seem to have copied ok but I transfer them again and it works. Could it be something to do with Data Execution Protection? Sometimes the OS says that it has closed Explorer to protect the machine. The system is Windows XP SP2 and I don't think there are any viruses or Spyware on the machine. Could it be a memory problem (I have 1GB in two sticks of RAM)?

Any help most appreciated ABers.
