capturing screenshots from video clips

when viewing video clips from film trailers I am unable to capture a screenshot (to use as pc background) I have tried using power dvd and adobe photoshop but with no success, any tips please

If these are streaming clips, im not sure you can without some third party programme to download the clips, if they are DVDs however or movie clips on your hard disc, you should be able to do it (particularly with Power DVD) by pressing the C keyboard key (Think its C , if not then its P, i'm in work at present and cant access the programme :-))

Have you tried pressing the PrtSc button on your keyboard and then pasting the image in to paint for saving.....I've just tried it on the apple movie trailer site and it worked fine for me.
