I need to increase the size of RAM on my PC, how do i know which type to install and where should i buy it ? also what's the difference between standard and other types of RAM ?

check on the manufacturers website as to what ram you require for that model of pc.

all computer hardware shops should stock the same type as you require, if in any doubt take your exisitng ram with you and they can match it
