does a usb pen/flash drive thingy work like a floppy disk , ie just insert and then add and delete files willy nilly?

Hi Immi. It doesn't get inserted to anything like what disks do. If you look at the back of your PC / lappy, you will see a 'slot' for it to be inserted. You can then use it like a floppy disc was used in that you can add files, delete files etc. and you can buy them with avrious amounts of memory too :)

yeh, thanks dakota. just wasnt sure if u cud add and delete files like on a floppy. with my mp3 player i have to take everything off, change the folder and then put the whole folder back on.

yes, you can use standard flash drives just like floppy disks.

As this is a usb pen drive you are referring to, just stick it in the usb port!

It will work exactly like a floppy or cd-rw.
