Hotmail facilities withdrawn.

Despite using my account on a daily basis, my accound has today been closed and can only be reactivated on payment of 19.99 per year. All folder, messages and replied have been closed access seems impossible without payment.
Anyone else had this experience or have any solutions?
Kind regards,
Ned.

Yes - there is a small link to bypass the 19.99 payment charge. Took me ages to work out what was going on (although if you use the account daily it shouldn't suddenly close - I'd have a work with MS about your saved messages if that's the case).
As with all online storage, it's always a good idea to have an offline backup in case you have important info saved (and the service crashes) - I use Outlook to do this for Hotmail.
