installing a laptop to broadband

How do you install a 2nd pc to a wireless router via ntl, I have tried and nothing happens. The laptop has a wireless connection

What have you done so far?

I had to istall the router software in the laptop and connect the laptop to the router by ethernet cable to install it.

Then I had to install my isp software in the laptop.

Then it was fine!

how old is your laptop? when you say nothing happens, can you see the wireless network? can you attempt to connect but it doesn't, or if it does you get "no connectivity"?

if this sounds like your experience, you'll probably need an updated driver for your network connection.
