Password Please...

some of the ftp sites require a password. I know some sites will let you in as 'anonymous' user. But what do you type as the accepted pw? guest? tried that...

Normally the 'anonymous' username does not need a password.

anonymous access normally requires a valid e-mail address as the password.

Generally you would use anonymous for the username and an email address as the password. Anything with an '@' and a '.' will be accepted in most cases. anon:email is in accordance with some IEEE standards or cisco standards or something.
