area 51 on ps2

I have loaded area 51 on to my hdd and i am using hdadvance 3 on my ps2.When i go to play the game it runs in black and white,i can`t seem to find the correct mode settings to make it run in colour HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

the game is probably ntsc and not pal.


is the tv you are playing it on quite old ?
