Have got set of floppy diskettes for win xp pro, but now another error:-


The following value in the SIF file used by set up is cxorrupted or missing


Value 0 on the line in section[SourceDiskFiles] with key "SP2.CAB."


When rebooted error NTLDR is missing.


Can anyone please help. Going out of my mind

It looks like the CD you are copying the files from is corrupt, or the CD player is faulty or - here's an unusual one that stumped me for ages- you have a faulty memory module.
Well, you still haven't told us what operating system you are using. The only thing that you have told us is that your CD Reader is not working. You now have a set of "floppy diskettes" for win XP Pro. First off - I don't believe Win XP pro was ever released on floppy disks - there would have to be hundreds of them. So what are these floppy disks you now have? If they are the Win XP boot disks (I think there are about 5 disks to the set) they are considered to be worse than useless. If you are using any other operating system other than Win XP, they would be disasterous. To get your CD Reader working, I recomend you use a Win98 boot disk which includes a CD Rom driver. What you do after that I really don't know. Insuffient Info.
