If you're running XP then:

Click Start

Control Panel

Add Or Remove Programs

This displays a list of programs. Select MSN Messenger and choose Remove.

Simple.

Hi Wardy, at last, a computer question I can answer, me not being a computer nut either.

Click on Start, then Control Panel, in the control panel, you'll see 'Add and Remove Programmes', highlight msm msgr, then click 'remove', that should do it, if not, lets hope someone else can help.

Sorry Ace, must have been writing at the same time, apologies.

Cheers Mr Peanut. I know lonnie was just about to suggest that too. ta.

did it work for you ? i know lonnie suggested doing it form the add remove programs list but im sure it needs to be done from the add remove windows components on the left of the add remove programs list.

could try it this way.

got to "Start."

then "Control panel."

then "Performance and maintenance."

then "Free up space on your hard drive"

it SHOULD allow you to remove MSN Messanger from here.

other than that, you should be able to restore your computer to the date before your neice installed it.

Hi Guys, no, I wasn't, but I have just learnt something.
