Windows Mwedia 10 Codecs...

I have Windows XP and when I try and play AVI's my Media PLayer (10) says that I dont have the codecs. What codec do I need and where can I get it from??

Codec means coder-decoder it is a piece of software that the the media player requires to know how to interpret the files you are trying to play with it.

Just use videoLAN. Plays pretty much everything straight away.
