F keys on the keyboard.?

Can anyone tell me where to find out what they actually do?

They do lots of different things, depending on which programme you are using at the time.

Commonly, F1 will almost always be the 'help' key. If you are browsing folders via 'My Computer', F2 will rename the current file. In Microsoft Word, F7 activates the spell checker, and so on.

If you're having trouble, pressing F1 should give you an index of helpful information, whatever programme you are usin at the time.

Thanks for your reply, but what I need is a printable answer for me and other people where I work. We all use Word if thats any help for an answer.

Like Aquariel said, they do lots of things depending on which programme you use!

The best thing to do would be go through the list and work out which ones you use regularly and just print those...
