can i just buy a sky+ box and use my existing dish and card? or do you need to remove the existing dish etc and get a totally new sky+ system

sky+ needs a dual lcb - it is basically 2 boxes in one. So you have to have 2 cables into the house and into the box

a standard dish has a quad lNb(4 feeds) and a sky+ box needs two feeds(cables) so the only difference is the extra cable.
