Do you mean screen capture? If so there are several ways.

Try:

1. Press 'print screen' - the key on the top row of your keyboard that says PrtScr

Nothing will happen! Don't panic.

2. Open Paint. Right click and 'paste'.

Voila! You can now manipulate the image to suit your needs.

Or you can use a free download tool:

The free edition is very good, I find.

Sorry if you are asking something else!

Thanks. I was asking how to do save still pictures from movies. Someone told me that you can do that from dvds loaded into the computer. Is this what your answer relates to? Sorry I didn't make myself more clear in the first place!

No, sorry.

Start another question - this one is too ambiguous.

I initially thought you were asking about capitals! LOL

1. Download Image Grabber II

here

2. Open your file

3. Click on the icon and the image appears

4. Choose 'save mutiple'

You can also look within your DVD player software for a capture option. Power DVD definitely has this and I imagine others do too.

Or have your DVD player running in a window (ie not fullscreen), pause where you want to capture, press ALT+PrintScrn, then you can paste into anything you like (photo editing software for example)
