It depends entirely what you do with them!

Exactly, same with websites, it's not really if the line is profitable it's wether there is a market for this sort of thing, you need to spend big bucks advertising and then to be honest it's really all down to luck.

If you do it right, yes. I have several and they all pay, but keep it simple, I've cut a few over the years because they don't pay or are too awkward to administrate.Good luck.

Hi yeah, well depends what you are trying to achieve or willing to get involved in. I tried most things from racing tip lines ( which took skill and changed every day, so difficult and high maintenance) to simple sex lines which pay the best and are very consistant as frankly any girl can talk dirty to some bloke on the phone for a few minutes. See what I mean about simplicity? Also it's a case of sex sells, they have without doubt been the most lucrative lines I've tried and I don't find them offensive but I don't know what you're proposing or how you feel morally about them but they can and do earn big money done right and I'd advise going for a niche market ( specialty things like bondage or more obscure things not really catered to in more general sex lines) and advertise specifically in mags dedicated to exactly that so you cut your advertising costs ( which can be huge).If you aren't into sex lines morally then tarot is the next most profitable but whatever you choose make it a live line as people don't really hang on for recorded stuff much.
