does anyone know of a program i can download from the internet that will pop up and remind me when there's a birthday coming up?

I use this calendar:

Any 'reminders' I put in such as birthdays pops up a week before the day and then every day until the actual day.

You can have events recurring annually so that's good for birthdays and anniversarys.

It is also an excellent general calendar with plenty of space for events and 'to dos'.

I use stickies which is a on screen post it note. very handy. and free from

www.zhornsoftware.co.uk

you can hide the stickie for a set time and it will pop up on your screen on the required day
