Quoting from the book: after running setup and accepting the licence agreement,select the partition that you want to use, or create a new one, select the file system that you want to use, fat16, fat32, if you want a dual boot system with Windows9x, NTFS if you don't. The setup program formats the partition with the selected file system and copies some files. Setup now reboots the PC and starts the setup wizard, here is where you choose the installation directory, which is C:\winnt by default.
