Is there a way, possibly through Google, but not necessarily on a web site that I can put information that can be read by many people.
I have written a book to raise money for our local hospice but am having trouble raising the funds for printing costs.
I want to advertise this over the internet to see if I can get any support.

Google is a search engine that searches web pages. In order to be shown on Google you'd have to have your own web page :)

You can get a free webspace by using something like Geocities but this will be covered with other adverts (hence why it's free!)

You can get webspace quite cheaply - if you want to know a bit more, drop me an email via my own website and I'll be happy to go through some options with you

why not try openiing a web blog. a sort of web page diary that can be searchd and found by (us) all?

good luck!
Hi again Ian1

As it's for charity, I could give you a year's free hosting to get you up and running on the web as it's for charity. The only cost would be for the domain name (the .com bit) but depending on ending (.com, .co.uk, .org etc) it wouldn't be any more than a tenner. Get in touch via the link in my previous post if you want!

Regards

Matt
