How do i encrypt/put passwords on videos, without buying software?

you can't.....you need the software to re-rip whatever with the encryption key

I'm not sure tex8596 understood the question; or at least, they didn't understand is as I do ;)

Amadaeus: you have videos on your computer, that you want to hide or otherwise block the playback of?

Download TrueCrypt. It's free, and this great little program will let you create a fully-encrypted virtual drive image. Don't forget the password for it though, otherwise your stuff is gone for good!
