recording freeview channels

hi...i have just brought a plasma tv with freeveiw built in...how do i record these channels...do i need to reprogramme my video player...thanks

You need to buy a SCART lead and connect it from your digi-box to your VCR. Tune your VCR to A1 or A2 - they vary from make to make, and what ever is showing on your Freeview will record on your machine.

You won;t be able to watch any other Freeview channel while you;r recording, but you can change to the terrestrial 5 with no problem.

Don't use your on-screen surf menu while recording - it goes onto your video!
With my set up I have to set the vcr to record channel EXT2.
Sorry, forgot - to find the A1 and A2 channels on your VCR, scroll down through your channels to BBC1 and then drop down one, and then another one - there they are.
