Typing double page spread
5 Answers
Does anyone know how I can do this?
I'm making a procedures guide for work but because there is only a small amount of information, thought it would be better and less wasteful to print it out A5 format as a double page spread than in a boring A4 format.
Many thanks in advance. X

Then click on the colums icon on the task bar - it's near the middle - on mine is 4 icons to the left of the zoom percentage box - is 2 columns of horizontal lines. If you hover your mouse over it, it will say columns. click this, then select 2,3 or 4 columns as required.

i found a good way is to cut up lots of little squares of paper, a quarter of the amount of pages you have, fold them in half, all together like a booklet - number each page in order, then take the pieces apart again and you will have lots of pieces of paper that will tell you what page needs to be on what piece of paper
i,e a number in each bottom corner, both sides.
that way you can rearrane the page order for each page
i,e first page is page 1 and 30, the turn that page over and print pages 2 and 29 etc
