Find me a laptop!
4 Answers
I want to buy a lap top, was wondering if you could help me?!
I don't really know about this sort of thing, so if some helpful bored soul out there fancies finding me one on the internet?! I know it's a bit cheeky - but someone might enjoy it!
Anyway, here are my requirements:
To be used for itunes, photos, general home office use
I have a lot of photos and music so would need to have a lot of memory i suppose.
I will also want to be able to access the internet etc.
Don't want to spend more than 300 and i don't mind if it's second hand.
Also, don't mind buying from ebay.
Thanks in advance!!

has a section on the left called Help me choose a notebook.
Although specific to Dell it may give you some ideas of the things to look for in a laptop (weight, size of screen, memory size, wireless etc etc)

There is a Dell Inspiron 1300 here from 349. This is their cheapest model but a new laptop for that price must be a good deal.

Personally I would NOT buy a second hand laptop.
The technology moves so fast even one a year old can be very out of date.
Also unless it comes with a backup CDs and all the drivers you are going to have all sorts of problems if you ever need to reinstall Windows.
You also do not know if it is faulty. For example if you spill liquid on a laptop (like beer or coke) it can look and work ok but the inside might be gradually corroding away and it may stop working very quickly.
Try to stretch your money to a new one.

If your going to buy through Dell then make sure you sign up at quidco and use the link provided, that way you get an extra rebate plus the usual Dell cheap prices.
