Can anyone tell me if i can record a programm on a digital channel, and watch another digital channel at the same time.

Not unless you have two digital tuners.

I can, because I get digital through cable tv and down the aerial via the freeview box.

When asking a technical question like this it does help to tell us what equipment you have got.

If you have got Sky+ then Yes you can do it, if you are using a toaster then you cannot.

If you have anything in between then maybe, but we need to know what hardware you have got.

you need a freeview box with a twin tuner. Argos, Comet etc etc sell them.

I have got a Sony Bravia TV, with digital installed in it , so i do not need a freeview box,
And no i have not got sky
