SD memory

I use an SD memory card on my satnav and doing an update the cards capacity was exceeded and now i can't remove the files or restore to my backup.
Anyone know how I can retrieve the situation? It just hangs up when I try to delete the offending files.

How are you trying to delete the files, via the sat nav or via windows explorer ?

I have the unit connected to the PC via USB cable and trying to delete in My Computer.

This may be the problem, if you have a card reader, that might prove easier. If not, right click on the start button, click explore and try to do it from there, you should be able to navigate to the unit and delete the files. Also, make sure the SD card is not write protected.

Never gave a thought about being write-protected! Doh!!
