The one built-in to Windows XP or use Zone Alarm or Syquest.
I have used Zone Alarm with AVG for well over two years.

No problems at all.
I'll give my backing to Zone Alarm (which I've used alongside AVG for many years):

(Download the file and then double-click on it for set-up).

again, id say zonealarm. used it with AVG for years but after I got my new computer and network installed I switched to Norton.

The free zonealarm is great, but the pro version is even better (which can be free - depending on if you know where to look!).
priceyclause - no problems with Norton?
PS. Not asleep yet?
I would not recommend Windows built in Firewall, i believe it only works one way!
Which ever you choose goe to this site to check it's strength.
