Can someone please clarify this for me:

Is a multi region (region 0) DVD player the same as a region free DVD player?? Thanks

Yes. Technically Region 0 doesn't actually exist, it's just another way of saying "region-free".

you will find that alot of films from china, Japan etc etc will be Region 0 (Regionless).

They will be the same quality as a normal DVD, but they will be able to be played on any dvd player.
