Hi

Does anyone know of any companies that offer broadband without having to sign up for a 12 month contract?

None as far as I know... would be very interested in hearing of any that did.
3-month minimum contract and very good personal service.

With Virgin.net you don't have to have a contract. Have been using it for about a year now I think at 14.99 per month.

They send you a free starter kit too or 69.99 for a wireless kit
If you cancel your contract with virgin.net within the first 12 months they charge you about 50 so although they allow you to cancel it at anytime and don't charge you that 50 upfront (as most others do in the form of a connection fee) they offer similar terms to other ISPs.

Excuse the slight tangent
Looks like I should have read the small print - I didn't know that. They have been fantastic though and I've been with them about a year anyway now
