Film (DVD rip) downloading...

A friend of mine downloads newly released US film for either: -

www.sharethefiles.com
www.sharevirus.com

He then converts them to DVD. Th quality ios not bad at all but sometimes the movie will either slightly jitter (when panning) or be pixelated.

Is this generally the thing with downloaded films or can you download crisp quality films? If so, from where, which site?
