I've got a pioneer dvd writer and am using Nero 7. When i write a dvd everythings fine - however - if i write a cd, audio or data, things go fine for about half the burn, but then the buffer drops to around 8 or 9 percent and the last half of the burn takes up to 10 minutes, making a 16x burn take 12mins. This has only just started to happen - anyone know why?

What i find best is, when i need to data cd, eg: music photos, documents, etc i use windows own burning system. send the files you want to put onto cd to the CD DRIVE. then open the drive folder. there is an option to burn the files. it will give you options to make a data cd or a music cd. follow the instructions and you will get what you want. with nero though it is a bit complicated. there could be some fault with the drive or nero itself. i dont know.
i hope my help has helped you.
