When I click on a web site link, many of which are given in Answerbank answers, it only opens in a 3' deep, full width box, on my screen. This has only recently started to happen. Previously links would open full screen, which I prefer. What have I done to cause this and how can I undo whatever it was ?

I hate this!!! I've found a way, but it's far from permanent - click on the link, then manually resize (ie. not maximise) the window that appears to be larger. Then close it. That resets it to the new size, but as I say, it's far from permanent.

Lisaj, you're a star, so I've given you 3. I presume then that the original cause was nothing that I had altered or reset myself; just an I.E. gremlin.
Well, Javascript can alter the browser window size so it's not unlikely that a website did it.

Chijiki - As soon as you open it press F11, that'll give max screen [but no lower menu bar]
Just to add to paulz's answer, we recently changed our comp and everytime I pressed F11 nothing happened. I found out that this is because on the new keyboard we have a "Function lock" key just to the right of the function keys... The light must be illuminated to make F11 work.
