Ihave put my albums on a data base using Excel, this I then put onto floppy disc. Not having used it for a week or two, I inserted said disc last night only to find that it won't open. Excel has caused an error in Excel.Exe is all i keep getting. What have I done wrong and how can I retreive my database? Help me please!!

Have you copied it from the floppy to the hard drive then try and open it? And secondly, have you tried opening it on a different computer?

Have copied from the disc to the hard drive, but the same thing happens. Haven't tried to open on a different computer yet.

I have now tried to open this on a few computers and the same thing happens. It is obviously the disk. Is the data lost completely?
