BT Broadband

I have bought the 6 Gb option 2 BT broadband package and am very happy with it, but I have a query.

Does the free firewall stuff and anti virus package only work when I click into the BT Yahoo! Broadband, or does it still apply when I just use the Internet Explorer package which was on my laptop (and which I'm familiar)?

Hi luckystrike, first of all nice package you've got from bt I bet it was expencive ??? now to your question I personly would not use any of the virus or firewall from bt,
go to www.avgfree.com get a free download, install it let it do a full check of your HDD then it will up date it self as and when it needs to. this is free software for a single user.
try it, it does work really well
