Problems loading AB

I use Firefox, and sometimes ahve difficulty loading the AB site. I get the topic list down the L?H side, but not shaded or anything, and the my profile / sign out is in the centre, but not 'active' eg I can't click on anything. It seems to work OK when I use Internet Explorer, but IE is soo sloow!

I thinks it's an AB performance problem and nothing to do with Firefox, which is to say you can occasionally get these problems with IE as well.

oh - but when running both IE and Firefox at the same time, it works ok with ie but not wih firefox

Unless you have some weird extension installed in firefox, it's nothing to do with firefox. It's just an issue, as rojash says, with the site.

It is not the AB that is at fault as the exact same thing used to happen to me when I used firefox. The only reason it loads quicker is because it doesn't load all the images, and because I like a larger text size the text used to overlap and it all became too confusing with firefox and the same thing happened with ebay.
I couldn't get on with firefox and have now switched to the Opera browser and it is brilliant much better than firefox and IE. It does everything I want it to do. Try Opera you will love it. I promise

However I have not been able to get AB with firefox since Thrusday, but have no problems with IE

Opera is definitely very good now. Personally I don't see it as being as good as firefox, basically because of the fact that firefox is free software, and it's got a good extensions system.

I browse AB with firefox almost daily, and have had no problems at all for months.
