recommend a web host

please could someone recommend a good reliable webhost? it needs to support php and have an easy to use control panel so my client can easily update and upload a txt file.

If all you need is php and an easy user interface to upload php then you haven't exactly narrowed it down. That still leaves 896 million hosts.

I "think" brinkster may offer an educational package for free which does this.

My top three are:
www.startlogic.com (US hosting site, excellent CP)
www.streamline.net (UK hosting, poor control panel tho)
freeola.com (free and very cheap packages, easy to use)

As for the client uploading a text file, can you not create a secured page which allows them to do this direct to the server. Thus eliminating the need for them to 'play' with the CP settings.

stevie21 - i'm fully aware how many hosting companies there are out there i didn't know where to start which is why i asked advice here. i need more than free hosting services can offer.
