has anyone gone wireless with aol, is it simple enough to set up using a router?

It is a bit convoluted but it's probably because they insist on setting up the security during the operation using their own software. There is the need for a 26 character code to be used, not the 1o character password that is mentioned. Best of luck gina.
Never gone near them, but I know someone who's fairly computer litterate (in the techie sense) and is trying to set one up currently. It just ain't going anywhere and because it's AOL you don't get all the manuals telling you how to get to the CLI and such.
It might be possible to do it yourself, but I'd guess you'll need all the AOL details and whether AOL support even know those is seriously debateable.
In essence - if you're not with AOL currently then avoid like the plauge, especially as cancelling it can be fun. And if you are, well, it should work but don't expect much help from them if it doesn't.

I have a router gina1960uk I got it from AOL shop in Birmingham but I couldn't set it up myself it's a Netgear DG834G v2 I telephoned AOL in Birmingham and they got someone to help me set it up with my computer from a modem,also set up my new laptop as well and I havn't had too much trouble with AOL have been with them for four years.
