My daughter took out an 18 month contract with 3 in Febuary but has found keeping up with the payments quite hard due to a reduction in work hours can she cancel her contract in anyway

A contract is a contract.

If you try to cancel they will probably charge you a few hundred pounds (or whatever the contract adds up to).

She can cancel it but will most likely have to pay the amount for the rest of the 18 months anyway.

A contract works both ways - they cannot suddenly double the amount they are charging because they are bound by contract. Similarly your daughter cannot just stop paying because she is bound by contract

thanks we were able to downgrade to the lowest tariff they do which has helped her out many thanks for youre answers
