Hey, i have just downloaded a few exe. files i used for setting new drivers onto my graphics card. Now i have finished using them, i would like to delete them from the desktop. But i can't. it says that they are currently being used by another application, even though everything is closed. Helppppppppppppp

As you have just run them they might be in memory, or locked by Windows in some way.

Reboot and then you can probably delete them.

Why not keep them, or back them up to CD or DVD, never know when you might need them again.
I think you'll need a 'remove on reboot' program ,the one I use is a free download from

it was the only way I could get rid of a exe file on my desktop
