When I convert a quicktime video on itunes to mpeg-4 it looses the sound and when i put a different type on my ipod it locks up, how do i keep the sound, when it shows your ipod name on the side mine doesn't have a category(playlist) thing for videos, is this a problem? Plz help.

If so, change another video converter for a trial. cause iTunes cant convert muxed video, many users complaint that video converted by iTunes has no sound. You can refer here for more info about it.
