camcorder to video transfer

when I play my camcorder through my TV the picture is perfect but when I record to video and play back the video the picture sometimes wobbles / shakes. I feel that it can't be the video because it doesn't happen all the time

Could be due to a number of causes, but the fact that it's intermittent suggests a poor quality connection. Try a different lead, and make sure that it's inserted fully.
