Wireless/Outlook problem

I'm using a wireless network, and can connect to the Internet no problem, and receive email no problem.

Sometimes, however, sending email just doesn't work. Outlook stays on 'processing' and just stays there.

I've tried restarting the laptop, disconnecting and reconnecting to the network, all to no avail.
