I'm not sure how it has happened (although the 20-month-old who has started coming up to the computer and whacking the keyboard and turning it on and off is a prime suspect) but my ZoneAlarm firewall from Zonelabs has disappeared. I've tried uninstalling it and installing it again but I keep getting the message:

Unable to connect to TrueVector Service - cannot configure access rules.

followed by:

Error processing config file!

I have no idea what that means or what to do. Have tried troubleshooting on their website but it's all Greek to me.

Anyone help, please? xxx

Try taking the piece of toast out of the cd-rom drive

Thanks 'Taran', will try that one.

'pcwork', thanks for the advice. How do I get to be in safe mode? x

No toast in the cdrom-drive, Hammer. That always goes into the vhs player x ;)
