Greetings!
Can some bright spark please explain how to calculate Mb of RAM from the info stamped onto the card chips?
A smart-alec computer engineer said that one just reads the last two digits of the chip ID number, but I cannot correlate these with memory size.
Life would be a whole lot easier if manufacturers would simply stick the Mb on a label on the board!!!!
