Sky + and DVD Recorders?

Does anyone know if a dvd recorder will work with sky plus?

I get the feeling they've implimented something to stop you recording on dvd's.

I have successfully recorded from the Sky+ hard disk to DVD on my DVD recorder.

In fact in the Sky+ planner there is a Copy option for the very reason to copy things from the hard disk to DVD.

I've not had any problems. I can record a programme from Sky+ straight onto my dvd recorder while watching/recording something else at the same time!
