Is there any device available for copying videos onto dvd? If so, any recommendations? My buying priorities are cheapness and ease of use!

The cheapest and quickest way is to buy a standalone dvd recorder that connects directly to your tv.

Hook it up to tv and video player and away you go.

yep. That's the set-up I've got.
Only recently though - haven't actually tried recording yet. Need to play around over Xmas break and work out how to do it succesfully
