Messenger Emoticons Disappeared

I've got Windows Live Messenger and all of a sudden all my emoticons have disappeared.

Is there any way I can get them back?

Oooh freaky, i was just about to ask that too, have posted on it in How it Works but not had any reply as yet! I lost loads :(

Are other people having this problem? Maybe there are some gremlins going round as I'm being plagued with sodding popups too :(
