Quite often when browsing we get the following message: ''information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed buy others. However there is a problem with the sites security certificate. The security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority. The security certificate has expired or is not yet valid. The security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view.
Do you wish to proceed?''
Is there a setting we can turn off to stop this appearing so often? It only happens on this particular PC.
You've not stated which browser you're using, so I'll assume it's Internet Explorer. The following instructions are for IE6 but it's probably similar for IE7. (Like most of the 'regulars' in AB's Technology section, I ditched Internet Explorer and switched to Firefox ages ago):
Follow this path:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Under 'Security', click to remove the tick from next to 'Warn about invalid site certificates' > Apply > OK.
